Troy - James R. Kiley, 58, died suddenly Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his residence.

Born in Troy, NY, he was son of the late Robert J. Kiley and Agnes M. LeFevre Kiley. He had resided in Troy  and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Survivors include four brothers, Sean M. (Kate) Kiley, Troy, Daniel P. (Amy) Kiley, Brunswick, Robert J. Kiley, Jr., Pittstown and Shane T. (Oriana) Kiley, North Greenbush.  

James was proud of his work as a member of Iron Workers Local 12 and a man who stood firmly for what he believed was right. Though he lived simply, his love and generosity toward his family was immense. He was loved by friends and family and will be deeply missed. 

Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in  St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.
